OKAY, SO HERE IT IS
This is what we're talking about.
This is a magazine that helps out the underground comics creator by publishing their works and sending it out via email, to those that could help you get your major break.
In todays comics industry, it's very hard to get your stuff off the ground, not to mention a good team of creators that you can trust. So, we've created this place, and this FREE magazine, for you undergrounders to showcase your work.
THIS IS AN IDEA WHOSE TIME HAS COME
The rules are simple, JOIN THE A.U.N. by going to our message board, find a group that you can work with, and trust, and all of you work together, for free, to get a foothold on your craft.
Think of this place, as a totally free proving ground.
Think about it, if you are a writer, and have these amazing ideas for a comic, but the only artists you can find, are non-pro's that want "pro" pay for their work.
Flip that script now, and you're an artist.
These things happen all the time, and they stifle creativity, because no one can get anything done.
LIFE IS NOT ALWAYS ABOUT MONEY
If you, as a creator, want to be the kind of creator that wants to do it all, that's fine, but really, how many of those are out there?
You've got to side with a team, and be a team player.
So no matter what, this industry is about collaboration.
So lets say, you as a writer, create an entire series, from sketches, to final design, but you can't draw, ink, or color a monthly. Then you need a team.
THIS IS WHAT THE A.U.N. IS ALL ABOUT
All this place is, is a place to help you form a team, get your stuff together, and then have it sent out to those that can help you. There are many ways to break into the industry, but we believe, we can help you using this one.
So, the steps for you here would be:
- JOIN THE A.U.N.(YOU MUST BECOME A MEMBER FIRST)
- GET YOUR TEAM TOGETHER
- BUILD YOUR IDEAS FROM CONCEPTION TO FINAL
- SUBMIT IT TO THE (FREE FOR ALL) A.U.N. MAGAZINE
- THE A.U.N. MAGAZINE EMAIL GOES OUT FOR EXPOSURE
